Bring a little island to students in this fun and educational Ukulele class. Studente will learn the chords necessary for many of their favorite popular songs as well as easy fingerpicking and the basics of strumming. Singing along is always encouraged!

Learn to read music, count rhythms, and perform beginning level classical, folk, and popular songs. Students will be provided with their own recorder and practice book. This class requires either music stands or the use of a document camera and screen/smartboard.

The fundamental premise of the Orff approach is that children learn music by creating it themselves. Students will explore un-pitched percussion, barred instruments, movement and voice. Students do this through singing, saying, dancing, and playing along in this upbeat class.

Are your fingers always tapping along to your favorite tunes? If so, this is the perfect class for you! Participants will learn popular beats to drum along to all their favorite songs. Join us to explore all the different types of drums from around the world. Each student will be provided their own hand drum and together we will make Beyond Exciting music!

Stomp, clap, and snap your way through an exhilarating class all about moving and grooving in creative ways. Have you ever thought of how you can make a jump or a clap musical? Well look no further. The possibilities for the sounds we can create together are Beyond Exciting!

Learn the basic skills of singing and music notation while performing songs of different styles including folk music and pop. If desired, this class can be taught including auxiliary percussion instruments and dance in the style of Orff. Of course, performances are also available as an option.
